I don't care if they are women and I don't care who they share their ladyparts with. I just want to know that they were the MOST qualified individuals for the job. Given the path the democrats have taken I suspect some of them might be DEI hires. I want a chief that will publically climb up the mayor's ass and call out the problems the department has in doing their job. The current Fire Chief is a classic DEI hire and the proof is, that she? made a half hour press conference raving about DEI and promising to hire more women. What that leads to is a lowering of the physical standards, and down the drain we go.
