We can't afford NOT TO do single payer health care

this is a very good example of why Democrats shouldn't be in charge of sewage plants......they don't know shit about how markets work. All they can do is centralize power, enable corruption, enrich their buddies, and rob the commoners.

Teach us all how the health care markets "work" if you think you're so smart and have it all figured out.

The "single payer" plan that get's discussed in this nation is public funding for private services...like Medicare.
That can indeed get very expensive.

We need the UK's National Health Service model which provides PUBLIC SERVICES.

Medical school should be just like the military service academies--fully taxpayer funded without tuition.
But as with the service academies,
the graduates must be committed to a given number of years of NHS service, perhaps ten,
before they're allowed to open private practices.

It's amazing that this is still a debate in the US. And as usual, it's lower income conservatives who would benefit from M4A who are opposed to it. They really are so brainwashed by their corporate overlords and wealthy individuals that they argue against their own self interest. Different day, same story.

We would save at least $1 trillion dollars by eliminating private health insurance.

That's not what Sanders's plan does, but your handlers would be proud of the way you squawked their party line.

I'm missing something about that math. 4% of $70k is $2,800 per year or $1,400 per income owner in a 2-income home. What went wrong here?

The first $29,000 of income is exempt from the tax. So if the income is $70,000, then $41K is taxed.

they didn't teach you that in college? what kind of shit degree did you get?

again, insurance is a scam. instead of consolidating the scam and corruption in to a select few who will become insanely wealthy through supposed regulation, we should free up that 'market' by ensuring that insurance companies can't put a stranglehold on healthcare providers.
