Probably what Obama did during Ebola and Zika, since he was President during those pandemics (and Biden was VP).

Clinton was SoS during H1N1 and it scared her and Obama so much that they drew up a brand new playbook to handle these things. That playbook worked extraordinarily well for us during Zika and Ebola. We didn't have 100,000 dead. We didn't have to do any social distancing. 40M people didn't lose their jobs and health care.

I'm old enough to remember Trump calling for Obama's impeachment because one person died of Ebola in the US.

So the question isn't what would Clinton or Biden have done, the question is why was Trump so fucking lazy in the first place?

A good lot of those 40K ppl coming here from China were due to the Chinese New Year holiday. Others were merely vacationing, many were business people. You're right -- they should have been quarantined before being allowed to spread across the country.

I'd have to disagree......there racism destroys Black and Brown lives. This country was built on their racism and it's still affecting us today. Millions of Black and Brown people have lost their lives to white racism. We also lost lives fighting against it.

Racism continues to destroy this country since those responsible are not held accountable for it.

100,000. Is that more than 15 cases that will just go away? We were in a great spot. We had no cases and knew it was coming. Then Trump spent 6 weeks doing nothing. After that he fucked up everything. We still do not have the testing he promised in March. The respirators took months. Masks are still not ready. Trump is incompetent.
