I was referring to the thousands of casualties that Americans have suffered from Iran and its proxies. (In case he doesn't know, they are one and the same, no difference.) So the truth, regardless of what this bigot says, is about 1,000 dead Americans since 1979 and 3-5 thousand wounded, that's thousands in my book. On the topic of the bombing of Iran, Karoline Leavitt was uncharacteristically dishonest. In fact, she reminded me of Karine Jean‑Pierre. I think we can all agree that Karoline is usually honest, straightforward and thorough when answering questions. It was rather disappointing to hear her EVADE a direct question about the bombing of Iran.

The question was "Nobody from this administration has laid out the imminent threat that was supposed to be taken care of by this [bombing of Iran]..."

Karoline opened with "I completely reject the premise of your question." I found this response troubling since there was no premise to the direct, straightforward question. Karoline's response was exactly the dishonest dismissal that I normally expect from leftists to almost any substantive question. Karoline did not answer with "In case you missed it, the imminent threat posed by Iran was X." Instead she berated the person asking the question, just like a leftist would, saying that "we" were told by the President, the Vice President, the Secretary of State, and many others, and that the President doesn't make these kinds of decisions in a vacuum ... excellent EVASION with feigned indignance.

She never answered the question. I was very disappointed.
