Wealth Inequality Is A National Emergency

There's a difference between being unnecessarily rude and being real.
You think Trump is unnecessarily rude? What about your post, right here, right now. It's time you get back a little of what you liberals have been dishing out so long.
It's undeniable that the American Right has gotten insane and nasty, not just online, but in mainstream news and politics too.
The American Right is not in mainstream news. The mainstream news is decidedly left. They make stuff up and report it as news. The have for a very long time. Trump is simply willing to call them out for it. There's a reason people are abandoning the 'mainstream' news, you know.
There are so many things acceptable now that never used to be acceptable before.
Like what? Abusing interns like Bill Clinton did? Threatening them if they talked like Hillary Clinton did? Printing trillions of dollars based on nothing like Obama did? Effectively attempting to nationalize a huge portion of the economy like Obama did? Threatening to stuff the Supreme Court with extra judges until he gets his way like FDR did? Killing innocent people, taking their land, and forcing the surviving women and children to march across several states without food or water so he could sell the land and make money like Jackson did?

You have NO concept of history, dude.

It is one of the things I never quite understood about Trump supporters. He makes fun of a handicapped person, he says a woman is menstruating, has told an incredible amount of lies, etc...

I can see why you voted for the guy because in our system, you either choose the D or the R. If you can't vote for one, you either cast a meaningless vote or vote for the other. Why you still defend the cruelty, the idiocy, and the lies two years later is the real "wtf" moment for me.

I never understood liberals.

They make fun of the handicapped, and try to steal from them. They for abortions on 'undesirable' women and permanently disfigure them, the tell an incredible amount of lies, including some real whoppers like man made ozone holes and 'climate change'. They try to redefine science and constantly play word games, then accuse others of doing it. The make up stuff and claim it to be the truth, even in a court of law. They seem to have no problem with using theft, arson, murder, perjury, assault, and threats to further their purposes.

And you have the gall to call Trump 'cruel'???

This should be a warning that a Oligarchy is too corrupt, lawless, immoral and unethical to sustain itself and sustain a working and taxpayer paying society and economy. Democracy is the better way to sustain, and without lawless corruption that attempts to distort and corrupt the way of Democracy as is the will of the framers of U.S. Constitutional law, etc.

The United States is not a democracy, and never was. It is a federated republic. We have constitutions in this country. Democracies have no constitution. They are unstable. They quickly dissolve into oligarchies or dictatorships. There is currently no surviving democracy in the world today.

Yeah, at least people who voted for Hillary did so because they saw her as the lesser evil. The fact that so many people actually trust Trump to the point of worship is terrifying.

No one worships Trump. He is not God. He is only the President. He is also doing a heck of a good job.

Essentially you defined the average Trump supporter. Thanks.

All the encyclopedias and dictionaries in the world disagree with you idiot

Probably like invading a nation that posed no threat to us like Bush did, raising the deficit beyond all imagination like Reagan did, obstructing justice like Nixon did…

Plenty of shameful history from the GOP.

helping Putin

you are not an American

I am an American. I am native American. Just keep your Chemtrail type conspiracy alive. I know you believe the work of fiction that said the Russians got Trump elected. I can't change your fundamentalism, but I can note that it's there.

Oddly enough, the deficit isn't the problem.

The Fed is the problem. It is price controls. They never work.

As far as the war in Iraq is concerned, I'll let the Saudis judge the effectiveness of that.
Nixon didn't obstruct justice. He resigned.

You still wish to ignore:
Abusing interns like Bill Clinton did? Threatening them if they talked like Hillary Clinton did? Printing trillions of dollars based on nothing like Obama did? Sorry, dude. These are a LOT more heinous than anything Reagan, Nixon, or Bush did.

Not ignoring it.
Pointing out we’ve had disappointments as long as we’ve had Presidents. Trump is just worse

Believe it or not, but people DO build grocery stores and compete against Walmart. Successfully too. Safeway is one example. So is Kroger. So is Whole Foods. Even the little neighborhood grocery store can compete against Walmart. They have something that Walmart doesn't have. A local presence.{/quote]

Your examples are fallacious. Krogers owns Albertsons, Fred Meyers, some of the Food-4-Less chain, and so forth. Safeway is part of General Mills, and the list goes on, and on. You cannot name a mom and pop shop that has started in the last 30 years where the owners have become wealthy.

No one is giving the wealthy anything. They are wealthy because they developed a product or service that a lot of people want, and are willing to pay for at the price they offer it. It is as simple as that.

That is a flat out lie, or you are delusional, or on drugs. Under Bush 43 they were given tax breaks where they paid less then the working man, and could even keep their profits offshore, tax exempt, and then there was the recessions where trillions of dollars were transferred to the wealthy after being taken from the middle class by loss of jobs, pensions, etc. Then you have the trillions given by the Trump tax plan. Billions every year are given to the wealthiest through "incentives", or just old style bribery. Do you have a clue as to how many are arrested every year for "white collar crimes"?

Anyone that is poor can start a business. Many have done so. I myself started with pretty much nothing. I developed my talents, developed products that people want (industrial sensors), worked for others to obtain a stake and started my company. It is now quite successful. I build sensors for industrial, aerospace, entertainment, and medical uses. People pay me for them at my price because they want them. I can't ask just any price, I have competitors. They will undercut me if they can.

So you developed an electronic device that others have also developed, and if you charge too much you are out of business.

Are you wealthy yet?

Welfare is socialism. It steals wealth, it doesn't create it. I create wealth.

You act as if wealth is infinite when reality knows it is not. Now, tell us what is your debt to asset/capital ratio?

Food stamps is socialism. It steals wealth, it doesn't create it. Yes, you buy from the grocery store, but where does the money come from to do so?

It is a gratuity from the taxpayer, and it is not stolen wealth. However, once that dollar is spent for the groceries who profits from the gratuity? It certainly is not the poor man for it is only temporarily his. For the wealthy it becomes an asset. I have yet to hear of a wealthy man becoming poor because of food stamps used by others.

Again, socialism. Same as any other welfare.

And it ends up in the pockets of the wealthy.

So you think the poor should never learn how to read or write, never learn any math, never learn anything about science, and simply live in poverty and ignorance, eh? How short sighted you are.

Never said that so you can stop that lie right now as if anyone of your kind could do otherwise.

Tell me since you have not mentioned it, are incentives, tax breaks, subsidies, etc., designed for the wealthy also welfare?

What did I say here that was unnecessarily rude?

The American Right is not in mainstream news. The mainstream news is decidedly left.

Fox News is the number one "news" station in America. So clearly, there is mainstream news that is right-wing.

They make stuff up and report it as news. The have for a very long time. Trump is simply willing to call them out for it. There's a reason people are abandoning the 'mainstream' news, you know.

The news stations that you call "left" don't make things up. At most, they will leave stuff out to give a false impression. But they don't just make up stories out of nowhere. Trump actually does do that.

Like what? Abusing interns like Bill Clinton did?

Notice how Bill Clinton actually got impeached for that. If he did this before running for president, he would have lost. In fact, Clinton being a sexual abuser ended up costing Al Gore his election.
Trump was accused by multiple women of sexual assault and Conservatives still supported him.
Meanwhile, Joe Biden is losing support among Democrats, not for sexual assault like Trump, but just for not respecting other people's personal space.

This is the real difference between most Americans and the modern Right. Trump has defined deviancy down for the modern Right.

Printing trillions of dollars based on nothing like Obama did? Effectively attempting to nationalize a huge portion of the economy like Obama did?

Source?

Threatening to stuff the Supreme Court with extra judges until he gets his way like FDR did? Killing innocent people, taking their land, and forcing the surviving women and children to march across several states without food or water so he could sell the land and make money like Jackson did?

Those things aren't acceptable anymore. Deviancy has been defined up since then, which is good. But now Trump is defining deviancy down.

No, my examples are real and they apply. Yes, Krogers owns Albersons, Fred Meyer,m and other chains. They got there by being successful against WalMart.
Safeway is not part of General Mills. Quite the opposite. Safeway has invested in General Mills.
The local Mom and Pop shop in many neighborhoods are running just fine. They are wealthy.

You like to use that a lot. It's the truth, dude, even if you deny it and call people liars.
Under Bush 43 they were given tax breaks where they paid less then the working man,
A tax break is not giving wealth away. It is simply not taking as much and routing it to useless government as much.
and could even keep their profits offshore, tax exempt,
They are allowed to do so. That's the law. Profits made overseas cannot be taxed by the United States!
and then there was the recessions where trillions of dollars were transferred to the wealthy
No money was given to the wealthy.
after being taken from the middle class by loss of jobs, pensions, etc.
It was not taken from the middle class.
Then you have the trillions given by the Trump tax plan.
Tax breaks for the wealthy are not giving money to the wealthy.
Billions every year are given to the wealthiest through "incentives",
Nope. Any incentive program is one where anyone can participate.
or just old style bribery.
Nope. The government has not bribed any wealthy person.
Do you have a clue as to how many are arrested every year for "white collar crimes"?
Irrelevant. They broke the law.
So you developed an electronic device that others have also developed, and if you charge too much you are out of business.
I've developed many electronic devices. They perform quite well. People buy them.
Are you wealthy yet?
Yes.

It is as infinite as the ability to be creative.
Now, tell us what is your debt to asset/capital ratio?
No debt.

It is a gratuity from the taxpayer, and it is not stolen wealth.
It is stolen wealth. It is stolen either in the form of taxes, or in the form of just printing money with no backing.
However, once that dollar is spent for the groceries who profits from the gratuity?
Basically no one. Yes, the dollar becomes revenue for the grocery store, but that grocery store was already taxed so you could have that dollar in the form of a food stamp.
It certainly is not the poor man for it is only temporarily his. For the wealthy it becomes an asset.
No, it becomes a revenue to replace what was taxed to create the food stamp program.
I have yet to hear of a wealthy man becoming poor because of food stamps used by others.
It is not their purpose.
And it ends up in the pockets of the wealthy.
No, it basically ends up in the pockets of the government. The taxes to pay for the food stamp program does not all come back to the private sector.

You did say it. It is you that is lying now. You did make this argument.
Tell me since you have not mentioned it, are incentives, tax breaks, subsidies, etc., designed for the wealthy also welfare?
Certain subsidies are, they should be curtailed. Otherwise, no. I have already explained why in this post.

Don't play innocent with me.

Fox News is not right wing. They're just not as left as other news organizations.
The news stations that you call "left" don't make things up.
Yes they do. They've even been caught at it multiple times.
At most, they will leave stuff out to give a false impression.
They do that too.

Yes they do.
Trump actually does do that.
Inversion fallacy.
Notice how Bill Clinton actually got impeached for that.
No, he wasn't. He was impeached for perjury and obstruction of justice, not for abusing women.
If he did this before running for president, he would have lost.
He did do this before running for president. He has done this all his adult life.
In fact, Clinton being a sexual abuser ended up costing Al Gore his election.
No, Al Gore cost Al Gore the election.
Trump was accused by multiple women of sexual assault and Conservatives still supported him.
There was no evidence, and the accusers in some cases were paid for by the Democrats.
Meanwhile, Joe Biden is losing support among Democrats, not for sexual assault like Trump, but just for not respecting other people's personal space.
Nah. He's just not radical enough.
This is the real difference between most Americans and the modern Right. Trump has defined deviancy down for the modern Right.
Where?
The New York Times, the Federal Reserve records, Congressional records, the stumping for it by Obama.
Those things aren't acceptable anymore.
They weren't acceptable then or now. Irrelevant fallacy.
Deviancy has been defined up since then, which is good.
But now Trump is defining deviancy down.
Want to play word games now? No thanks.
