Here is my friend's post on FB today, any thoughts?

I'm severely traumatised...The new Canon ad showed a nipple of a black African woman doing a tribal dance.... Fake book allowed it to appear...So I reported it of course.... But it occurred to me that if it had been a white woman at a disco showing her nipples it would have been banned. Not only showing filth but racist with it. As if a black woman's tits don't matter. ..I'm deeply offended by this and I want some compensation now.....

He ought to be enjoying life a LOT more...and pissing and moaning a LOT less. He seems like a lucky guy who considers himself as being short-changed in life.

Gotta sacrifice a bit for the cause.

But mostly I've got a huge smile on my face while doing my pissing and moaning about Trump. I'm actually "enjoying life" when doing my thing about the abomination.

HM's friend doesn't sound like he is enjoying anything!

ASIDE: (more pissing and moaning) Fucking rain is really hurting us now. We had to close the course for tomorrow (one of my work days) and may close it for the rest of the season. The course drains slowly...and just has not been able to handle this very wet summer. The fairways, normally like country club fairways, look like overused cow pastures right now.

Hope this shit stops after this soaking.

Yeah, raining here too. We're supposed to get 2" today. Looks like I'll be putting the car in for the winter. We've had too much rain this summer and it canceled a lot of car shows this year. Everyone's been bitching about it. I'm hoping for an "Indian Summer," but I think we're beyond that now. We'll see...

I'd sell my soul for an Indian Summer...but I think you are correct. Probably too late now. I'd gladly settle for three weeks without any rain. Can Seattle be worse than this?

There is nothing "tongue in cheek" sounding about his comments to me. He sounds very disgruntled. And what you perceive to be his "healthy dose of reality"...does not sound very healthy to me.

But most conservatives sound that way to me...so perhaps I am judging him too harshly.

My soul isn't for sale, I'll just have to live with what's coming whether I like it or not. But yeah, I'd settle for a few weeks without rain.
As for Seattle, I don't know. They are supposed to be getting a hockey team though...

The entire band is just another third rate, run of the mill, sorry old fart small time bar band phoning their lazy uninspired performance in. The keyboard chick looks like she has a nice ass, though. I wouldn't mind doing her, but the band as a whole is nothing to write home about.

Sonia is a great lady, very funny and classy. Ken is a great guitarist, have seen him play a few times. He was a session musician for many years in London but yearned to come back to Wales. I will show him this post, he loves a good laugh.
