Why do religious people get so mad when their beliefs are challenged?
Because, I suppose, they've made a bet upon their eternal future and feel very, very threatened if their bet is challenged. That's why I hate text-swapping - there's far too much emotion involved for far too may people. I was fortunate enough to have been brought up by a Christian-socialist Father and an Atheist Mother, who formed a totally-devoted club of two, to which my brother and I were just about admitted as visiting members. Took the bite out of all that guff wonderfully!
