What about his 2nd Amendment Rights?

Parking lot sales occur at Burger King and Walmart too. Your point?

That illegal gun sales are occurring. For some reason however, not too many of 2nd amendment supporters have anything constructive to say in response other than derision or evasion.

They can pass all the laws requiring background checks for every sale of something as mundane as even a BB gun that they want to pass and it will do nothing to stop these sorts of sales. Who will it affect? People like Rune (I assume) and me.

Actually I am not a gun fan ( I own an unfired muzzle loading single shot rifle that I am entitled to under the second amendment [50 cal with a scope]) but I do support the constitution and especially the Bill of Rights.

But, yes, gun laws only affect those willing to obey them, not criminals.

I suppose I should sight the rifle in, but I really don't feel like shooting anything.

As far as deer hunting I have only hunted with a muzzleloader for the last 10one years. I used to own upwards of around 40 long guns and several handguns. I kept thousands of rounds of ammo on hand too so my buddies and I could go "blow off" some steam at a moments notice. That was before marriage. I've whittled the supply down to about 20 guns altogether and also keep less ammo on hand. My boy really likes to shoot so I am looking to increase my ammo supply. That said, I regularly only use about 5 of my guns. Some of them carry sentimental value and some of them are just fun to shoot on occasion.

Oh, only 7 or 8 are registered in my name as most were acquired in trades or bought from individuals.

You should man. It's so theraputic. Especially if you have a spot of land to shoot on. I just float off into my own little bubble sometimes. Nothing else matter, just a slow steady breath, and focused trigger pull. No noise from the outside world, no pressures, no dead lines, no other people.....just pure serene bliss.

And FFL's like me who will see cost of business going up to pay for all the new enforcement. And let me tell you, even if I did something other than transfers, it's not one you can make a lot of money in.

Those days are past for me Bill. I was an NRA marksman with a .22
Like many other things in my life, I have moved on and there is never enough time any more.
Thank you for the encouragement though. I appreciate that very much.
