What are some of your favorite epic rock and roll songs?

My favorites include "Stairway to Heaven", "In My Time of Dying", and "Kashmir", by Led Zeppelin, "Free Bird", by Lynyrd Skynyrd, "Funeral For A Friend/Love Lies Bleeding", by Elton John, and the full version of "Roundabout" and "Close To The Edge", by Yes.

Highland Wedding Steve Morse
Eight Mikes High Leo Kotke (ok he has no business singing but listen to his one track 12 string guitar, i saw him play it live and i cat tell you how its even possible)

Peter Green was the man back in 1968. Eric Clapton, B.B King, and Carlos Santana admitted that Pete was a huge influence on them and one of their favorite musicians.

Carlos later covered his Black Magic Woman and turned it into an international hit!

Peter Green was fantastic, wasn't he? It's a shame he left Fleetwood Mac as early as he did.

I would have never heard of him if Dallas hadn't of launched their very first underground FM station here in Dallas and played all of their songs.

It made be backlog and go down and buy their albums.- and buy a new stereo too.

The birth of the FM era was the greatest moment for Rock N' Roll!

Yep, the FM era WAS great. Remember the movie FM from the late 70's? The story line sucked, but the music was great.
