Cops are really super humans! We expect them to be anyway! In most careers, you can make a mistake, but not the police! THEY CAN'T MAKE MISTAKES! They have to bat 1,000!

You've always heard the phrase, "Cooler heads are going to prevail"! Well, Cops have the cooler heads when they arrive on a family disturbance scene!

HERE IS WHAT COPS SHOULD NOT DO.... COME INTO A FAMILY DISTURBANCE SCENE, WITH GUNS-A-BLAZIN and just start shooting people brandishing weapons or making threats towards each other. THAT IS NOT COOLER HEADS PREVAILING HERE!

This looks more like trigger happy cops just looking for an excuse to shoot people- THE BEAVIS AND BUTTHEAD GUNS AND MULTIPLE KILL SHOTS ARE THE ANSWER TO EVERYTHING APPROACHJ!

Most mace and pepper-spray units are accurate up to 25 to 30 feet. Had the officer shot some pepper spray in the face of the 16 YO brandishing the knife- stabbing someone would not have been of further concern- as getting that pepper spray out of your eyes becomes the most utmost concern at that point as one is instantly blinded in excruciating pain and rendered helpless harmless at that point.

There are millions upon millions of police and civilian interactions each year and the police do not only shoot people. That claim is widely false. Of course the media isn’t going to broadcast cops risking their lives and saving people, or doing any other numerous things, because that doesn’t draw the ratings like a shooting does. So people have a false misconception as a result.

Was that close enough to do a Judo tactic? A properly trained person would be close enough to do it.

If she's swinging a knife and using deadly force, anything less than deadly force in response is not the right choice here. the lady in pink was about to be murdered.


second point, using a taser suffers the same problem, being less than lethal the likely hood of it's efficacy does not indicate it's use.

he wasnt close enough to do anything that would be effective in stooping it, the use of deadly force is allowed to protect your life or others and in instances where you are preventing serious body injury.
