What does Bush's 2004 election say about America?

They were doing that before the election. You didn't read the story at all. They made it clear that your Faith that they would did not reflect the reality that they said they would not.

If they helped that much prior to the election just imagine how much they would have helped if Kerry had admited they were right and offered them the ability to bid on rebuilding contracts.

Regardless of what they had previously said!

They specifically, when they were asked, stated that they would not. I will take their word for it rather than your supposition of magic based in nothing other than wishful thinking and a firm faith.

Jarod, this is flying in the face of the actual evidence. I posted the fricking story where they said, point of fact, that even if Kerry were elected they would not help any more than what they were already doing.

I dont deny they said that. I still think they would have helped. Even if they did not, I am SURE others would have!

I don't think they would any more than symbolically, but heck, we are both working on supposition. I do know what they said, and they surely didn't say it to help Bush win the election. I think they were sincere, those administrations had no love for Bush.

Bush should at least admit they were right and he was wrong. He really attacked "OLD EUROPE" for having the Audaucity to disagree with him on invading Iraq.

I said that long ago. I think he should go with his hat in his hand and act humbly, as he said he would while running in 2000, and get the aid of those who will not be so negatively looked upon in Iraq.

Regardless of all that, the idea that they were just saying those things flies in the face of logic if first, it was true they wanted Kerry to win, and secondly that they would help if Kerry were elected.
