That does not make sense. The context of this discussion is "religion". Now you are shifting the context into government and law.

Do you want to have that conversation instead?

Moving away from religion now . . . same-sex attraction is a mental disorder. You cannot make a mental disorder illegal. That makes no sense at all.

Same sex attraction needs to be viewed just as any other disorder is viewed, and treated. In this case, support groups along the lines of AA groups are best.

Oh, and please spare me the song and dance about the APA removing same-sex attraction from the DSM. That was a purely political move without a shred of scientific evidence to justify it. The APA is totally corrupted.

The Episcopalian Church down the street from me has a lesbian Vicar. As one of the oldest Protestant churches in America, I think they are capable of interpreting the Bible.
