What happened to States Rights?

Then they should not vote for the Governor who did this. It is a state issue.

I do not believe the claim, because even before "congestion pricing" there were MUCH cheaper (and faster) ways to get in and out of the City than driving.
So you want to force the poor people into an unsafe mass transit system where illegal immigrants set people on fire?

Trump ends NYC Congestion pricing.
It is not a State's right to charge a toll on a federal roadway. See the Federal Highway authority, supported by Article I of the Constitution of the United States.

No answer the question raised by the title of the thread (as opposed by the OP!) what happened was the 17th amendment. State's representation has eroded since then. I would like to see the 17th amendment repealed. States should have the authority to choose their own Senators. That is the purpose of the Senate. It represents the States as States, and the HOUSE represents the people.

That all changed with the 17th amendment. Now, BOTH houses represent the people (the only real difference is term limits) and the States have lost any say as State governments, other than through the Constitution itself, which of course they own.

watching the shit stains pretend to care about things they did not care about a few short months ago cracks me up

was it state rights when the state of New York had to go to Biden and ask for approval for congestion pricing?
progressives are very much like spoiled children - the minute things don't go their way, they cry and scream

I remember when you cockroaches didn't
Democrats don't remember anything, nor are they for State rights, or ANY rights.

DEMOCRATS support censorship, state religions at the federal level, the restriction of guns and other weapons, political imprisonment and persecution, ignore State's rights, ignore and deny the Constitution of the United States and all State constitutions, and call the oligarchy or dictatorship they want a 'democracy'.
