What is Biden running on as a platform?

I've been unable to discern anything Biden is running on other than "I'm not Trump." The few mentions of programs are things like "I'll retain Obamacare..." something he has to do nothing but show up in office to have happen, or "I'll restore faith in America..." and other meaningless platitudes.

Seems to me other than if you hate Trump, there's no reason to vote for Biden, and I'd say for most people there's little or no reason to vote for either one. Truly pathetic.

I don't see Biden as terrible. He is going to be handed a country the rest of the world has lost faith in. He also knows just about every world leader on a first name basis. Plenty of republicans respect him. Plenty of independents also respect him and know he is not the extreme left like the Sanders or Warren tickets. Sure, it would be nice if he were 20 yrs younger but he isn't running against any spring chicken either, what is the difference? 2-3 yrs?. Based on their lifestyles I would not be surprised if trump drops dead long before Biden. Maybe he wasn't slipping on that ramp but the only time you use 2 hands to take a sip of water is if one of them is shaking so badly you don't want to spill it. Biden is not terrible at all, actually kinda perfect.

It doesn't matter. A) Because he doesn't need a platform or policy, he has a guaranteed 47% of the vote and 235ish electoral. Terry Schivo would have the exact same guarantee if a (D) was next to her name too. And B) because it's all lies anyways. That's all platforms are for politicians at any level but especially nationally. It's just there to try and get that 47% to 51%. And then when it doesn't come to fruition they can blame it on someone else and say "well I'm working on it, I pinky swear. So vote for me again."

You are underestimating the "anybody but Trump" appeal, it is not just a dislike for Trump personally, although that is huge, but also a rejection of Trump's three and half years at the helm, everyone doesn't buy all the superlatives he uses to describe his policies

Trump is out there purposely dividing people amidst two major crisis, Biden is offering to unite Americans to deal with the problems, only platform he needs
