Turkey, cornbread dressing (in a pan not stuffed in turkey), gravy, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, the kind with pecans and a candied top, cranberry sauce, broccoli casserole, green bean casserole, greens, deviled eggs, dinner rolls, pecan pie, German chocolate cake.
Yes to brining -- it makes ALL the difference. I was so glad to discover it.Yep pretty much this^^^ My wife is making the celery pinions and corn bread etc for the dressing right now. I never stuff the turkey. I'm brining a Turkey and a turkey breast today. Will inject them tomorrow with chicken broth melted butter and seasoning tomorrow and refrigerate over night.. Then Saturday I'll smoke the breast and oven roast the whole turkey till they reach 170. I also baste with butter and season with Tex Joy BBQ rub. It's amazing how similar the rest of your menu to ours is even German Chocolate cake from scratch. I make the mash potatoes from my secret recipe (too much butter). I also make a fruit salad. (1 Whole pineapple. 2 mango, 4 oranges , red grapes, green grapes, 6 kiwi. My wife is adding a Blueberry Crescent Roll bread pudding dessert this year..
Do you make your own cranberry sauce or eat it out or use Ocean Spay canned. I prefer the canned stuff.
We do the same basic menu each year. One year I did a beautiful Prime rib roast and I thought I was going to have a rebellion on my hands. They wanted turkey!
We feed 25-30 people on Christmas eve and let the families have Christmas day at their own homes.

as soon as we have it nailed completely down I'll have to post our New Year's Eve Peachy Fabulous Feast menu...Hoppin' John is on there for sure... (we do collards for every holiday meal... I will also post the finalized Christmas Day meal here very shortly...Yes to brining -- it makes ALL the difference. I was so glad to discover it.
You must be a Southerner. The menu can vary but basically stays the same. And of course, ham, black-eyed peas, collard greens and corn bread on New Year's Day.
Oh that's right, the Peach bowl. Being on a keto diet doesn't mean you have to do it for life. I'm not diabetic, my A1C is like 4.6 and my BMI is normal. People go on diets and then eat normally again. Not sure why you are concerned over what I'm eating. I'm quite aware of what I'm doing.Hahaha. Right, Ms. Keto.
Oh absolutely....I do use a ham bone if I have one or smoked turkey parts... but if not chicken broth is fine...throw in a bit of cider vinegar sometime...Oh that's right, the Peach bowl. That will be a big game.
You know, I used to cook collards with ham or ham hocks but chicken broth is just as good and gives them excellent flavor!
Sounds wonderful...I wanted to do a prime rib, but I waited too long to order it...and they were sold out...got a lovely brisket, though...we're also smoking- some hams a turkey breast, and some salmon..charcuterie boards.....;'Prime Rib, Twiced Baked Potato , Fresh asparagus, oven roasted chunks of Butternut Squash...likely baked oysters pre.....apple crisp in cream aft.

Sounds amazing...and a very lovely idea to do it on Christmas Eve...(to the too much butter, throw in an egg or two depending on how many potatoes you're doing...makes them super creamy...) Have a very Merry Christmas...I hope the weather doesn't make things too difficult...Yep pretty much this^^^ My wife is making the celery pinions and corn bread etc for the dressing right now. And btw, that German chocolate cake from scratch always takes exactly 3 hours to make. It's the frosting that takes such efforts, but worth it.
I could care less what you eat, or if you eat, Cuntsuelo. I'm more interested in your lying and why you do it. It seems that you change your stories depending on who you're talking to. For instance, back when you were trying to act normal, you had long discussions with Mason about keto, remember? According to you, you *never* touched sugar because it was "poison," and your diet was even stricter than his. But when you natter with your toxic sister, suddenly you're making fudge, peanut brittle, cakes, etc.
Sucking up must be sooo exhausting. How DO you find the time?

.
Bunch o' bread assortments...assortment of cold salads (your mention of homemade potato salad the other day inspired me...) , lots of desserts... a buffet instead of a sit down dinner...And someone asked for lasagna...lol..so we'll do one...
There's nothing better...We love prime rib... Does he (and do you) cook it the "old fashioned" way?My brother does prime rib every year. In recent years he has been complaining of the supply/price problem....seems like it has gotten more popular as a Christmas meal.

It is very pricey now if you get a well marbled magnificent one...which is why I want to know exactly where it came from... And yes, it's on my meat snobbery list....and they were out...lol I do have one on order for next semester...
