What is the opposition to the critical race theory

Poor uneducated peckerwood

Critical race theory (CRT) is a cross-disciplinary intellectual and social movement of civil-rights scholars and activists who seek to examine the intersection of race, society, and law in the United States and to challenge mainstream American approaches to racial justice.

Critical race theory is an academic concept that is more than 40 years old. The core idea is that race is a social construct, and that racism is not merely the product of individual bias or prejudice, but also something embedded in legal systems and policies.

Actually, it is an artificial construct of Kimberly Crenshaw, an academic and lifetime Communist. She conflated Darryl Bell's Critical Legal Theory and her on theory on Intersectionality into Critical Race Theory. At it's heart CRT is just warmed over Marxist didactic substituting race for class in society. It's a big a pile of crap as Marxist theory itself is.

Did you actually expect Guano to know any of that truth?

Oh my! How very true! But if they exist outside of the law, how can they be challenged? Up to the point where an extralegal “policy” is challenged in a court of law, do we really KNOW it exists?

The apartment affair? Addressed by the human rights commission A HALF CENTURY AGO, a year after DJT took the reins of his father’s company. And BTW, did you know that Trump didn’t register as a republican until 1987? Then he changed parties again and he was a jackass from 1991 until 2009. His dad Fred was a lifelong jackass and was evidently arrested for some dealings with the KKK in 1927. Guess racism was all the rage. So how far back do you want to go?

Sorry if I'm not following the conversation correctly, but I agree outlaws are always challenged by the lawful. Sometimes it takes longer than other times.

Kill all terrorists, hang all traitors.

Dude, I respect you as both a JPP member and a shipmate, but please PM me on the thing between you and guno.

I don't know shit about your individual pasts and no one has rank here.

AFAIK, we're just a bunch of old guys asking "What the fuck?", but you two seem to know each other. I hate to see shipmates attack each other.

Jesus, dude, do you ever get tired of looking for reasons to hate people based upon the paper test? Why does she and her ideas scare you and those like you?

Kimberlé Williams Crenshaw (born May 5, 1959) is an American civil rights advocate and a leading scholar of critical race theory. She is a professor at the UCLA School of Law and Columbia Law School, where she specializes in race and gender issues.

Crenshaw is known for the introduction and development of intersectional theory, the study of how overlapping or intersecting social identities, particularly minority identities, relate to systems and structures of oppression, domination, or discrimination. Her work further expands to also include intersectional feminism which is a sub-category related to intersectional theory. Intersection feminism examines the overlapping systems of oppression and discrimination that women are subject to face due to their ethnicity, sexuality and economic background.

Because her ideas on CRT are idiotic tripe. It's that simple. Just because you are some credentialed academic doesn't mean you automatically are correct, smart, or posing sound ideas. Academic quackery abounds, and Crenshaw is an academic quack.

Yeah, you think all African-Americans are less than Euro-Americans. Blah, blah, blah. I get it.

Results count and goals count. You and I are both old enough to understand the importance of those factors.

I grew up in a desegregated society. Racism was an oddity. Later, as an adult, I realized that racist fuckwads exist among all groups. Part of the 10% Rules I guess.

No, I think that individuals should be judged as individuals, not by their ethnicity, race, or gender as CRT does. Yep, CRT takes us backwards on those issues and turns them into a new form of class warfare.

IDGAF

Mainly because I have no respect for you. If I respected you, then I'd give a fuck.

Dark souls die miserable deaths by their own choosing. We all have a choice. We each make it each and every day we wake up and look at the ceiling of our homes for a few seconds. In that time, be it a microsecond or much longer, we each decide how we'll live our life that day. Our mortal life.

You have a choice, Dark Soul. Why do you keep choosing the path you are on?

This message is not new and, IMO, we all already know it. Some just live it, some choose not to do so. Your choice.

LOL You're such a douche. Because my path is not lib-shit like yours it's wrong. :rofl2:

Agreed with the bolded but not your derail into unsubstantiated claims.

Please help me out and point to the best post in this thread that defines "CRT". I haven't seen one, just fear mongering and bullshit.

Hopefully, you'll agree that this fear-mongering bullshit isn't solving anything.

Of course it matters. It's in the 14th Amendment. Why don't you understand that point? Do you have examples where it's not being applied?

Dude, that's gobbledygook.

Are you trying to say you quit your janitor job at the Mall because all the cool kids made fun of you and now you can't collect unemployment?

Not gobbledygook. It is how it works. It is the law in Michigan.

It is a right wing flag that says "I'm a bigot and proud of it"

In my opinion, critical race theory is just what it is a repuke hatched gimmick of bullshit in order to play society as a sucker at falling for their critical trash and other critical acts to undermine the wellbeing of society. What about the critical repuke act of waging war on Democracy, society, the environment, humanity and education and anything else of a civilized nature. Also as demonstrated a typical repuke represents the regression of the evolutional process.

Here's what a site supporting CRT says:

An outgrowth of the European Marxist school of critical theory, critical race theory is an academic movement which seeks to link racism, race, and power. Unlike the Civil Rights movement, which sought to work within the structures of American democracy, critical race theorists challenge the very foundations of the liberal order, such as rationalism, constitutional law, and legal reasoning. Critical race theorists argue that American social life, political structures, and economic systems are founded upon race, which (in their view) is a social construct.

Systemic racism, in the eyes of critical race theorists, stems from the dominance of race in American life. Critical race theorists and anti-racist advocates argue that, because race is a predominant part of American life, racism itself has become internalized into the American conscience. It is because of this, they argue, that there have been significantly different legal and economic outcomes between different racial groups.
https://criticalrace.org/what-is-cr...f,which seeks to link racism, race, and power.

It's what I keep defining it as here. My definition isn't one I made up, but is based on what the academics and others who invented and expound on CRT say:

It is a Marxist construct based on Critical Theory that was then more narrowly defined by Derrick Bell at Harvard Law into Critical Legal Theory. Kimberly Crenshaw, an avowed Communist then took Bell's theory added her own theory of Intersectionality to it and created Critical Race Theory. That's the lineage of CRT.

What CRT does in simplest terms is redefine Marxist didactic as not being about class--proletariat versus bourgeoise--but rather about race and gender. Some races and genders are defined as oppressed, others as the oppressors. As in Marxist theory, the two are opposed in society and the object of CRT is to create a consciousness among the oppressed to allow them to rise up and overcome the oppressors. It's the same failed nonsense Marx and Engels purveyed.

It's that simple. It's a quack academic theory based on Marxism and Communism that substitutes race and gender for class. I can't make it more simple than that.

God Bless America and individual opinions.

Now please explain to me why I should be shitting my pants about CRT. Your definition is just an opinion. I like facts. Results. TIA
