R.I.P. David Roback.
He is seated, playing the guitar in this video.
He wrote the music.
The lovely, INCREDIBLY shy gal singing - Hope Sandoval - wrote the lyrics.
00:00 Halah
03:26 Ride it on
06:34 Flowers in December
11:33 Leaving on a Train
14:52 Fade into You (was a hit)
My best friend growing up met his wife and fucked her to this song:
They were in the back seat, I was in the front seat with the driver in some old round green dodge. They're still together, I ain't seen that girl since the morning after.
There actually were dashboard lights and not sure if body heat or the heater kept us warm that night.
That car was rockin', though!
This is such a killer song..
Decisions, decisions.. and it's a round..awesome!
I never thought I'd think that Meatloaf was the pinnacle of modern music, but umm..
Alas, my Tesla CD sleeps at the bottom of Tampa Bay with the fishes. My friend ejected it and threw it out the window one day as were going across the Skyway.
True Story! I still think it's great working music.
I would have cracked him in the jaw right then and there if I didn't love him. I still like teh Tesla. I got another album the next day.
Didn't bring it to work, though.
