What Song Are You Listening To, Right Now?

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced their inductees. Again for Rock Fans it was a head shaker selection. They only selected one true rocker. Pat Bennatar, which was looooooong over due. Pat was far more influential in Rock and Roll than Madonna was for Christs sakes. To be quite honest a better vocalist too.

Be that as it may I thought it would be fun to play some songs by our favorite Rockers who are not in the HoF for some inexplicable reasons and make fun of the HoF’s selection committee for being music snob noobs.

My first one is an Interesting song by Dr. Hook and The Medicine Show. Who should have been inducted with their song writer Shel Silverstein a decades ago.

This song was actually one of theirs that didn’t chart. Given the subject matter that’s not surprising but this song was way ahead of its time in recognizing the plight of the homeless nor have I heard one to date I think is better.
