Mary Wells - The One Who Really Loves You


Listen to the several distinctive touches that writer, Smoky Robinson, put in the song.

I sometimes put this on loop just to appreciate all the fun things Smoky did with the lyrics that are so smooth when sang together and it's Latin tempo and melody, so cool. This is very satisfying to listen to and then there's the artistry of Mary Wells. She was the perfect singer to perform this terrific number.

There are a couple of Disco Purrfection Version edits of great songs which have enhanced the original hits.

I haven't heard the whole song yet, but so far, I like it. I prefer the original. But this might grow on me.
