Who said it's not? I live about a mile from where I was raised, and know just about everyone around here. I live in a rural area, and people tend to mind their own business, so we don't have 'get togethers' as much, but when a home burns or disaster happens, the neighbors all pitch in to help, and what few 'kids' live out here, only wish that they lived somewhere else. In such an environment, parenting becomes a much easier task, because "going to town" has such a powerful motivational factor for most kids. There is very little need for neighbors to "look out" for other people's kids.
It's great to live in a close-knit community, there is nothing like it. But that is not what this MSNBC moonbat was talking about, and it's not what liberal socialists want to do. That is being spun as the deception, what you are supposed to believe she meant. This is about indoctrination. And they fully intend to go through with this, it's part of the plan.
This isn't paranoia, I wish that it was. I told myself that for years, but I am more convinced than ever now. Thinking and rational people need to be aware, this is not as it seems, this is not about returning to Beaver Cleaver days, where neighbors looked out for each other, we don't live in those times anymore. I bet the vast majority of posters here, can't name 6 of their neighbors. I bet there are some who don't know any! When I lived in the apartments in Montgomery, I didn't know anyone, and if I met someone, they moved a month later or something, it's just the way of life in apartments. You may know the people around you, if you make the effort, but people are not nearly as 'social' as they once were, especially with the advent of social networking. So to pretend this is really about some longing for days gone by, is laughable to me. Liberals KILLED those days and buried them, under a heap of liberal 'progressive' policies and laws, which make it a very risky business sticking your nose in the affairs of others.
