Two moron in a circle jerk. 
Yeah...he was "strong armed" into not calling a lawyer.
And he was "strong armed" into lying to the FBI.
Jesus H. Christ...why can't people see this situation for what it actually is. Flynn knew there was the POSSIBILITY that the FBI was on to him...he KNEW for a fact that he had stuff to hide...he recognized that he should have lawyered-up...but he didn't.
He didn't of his own volition.
Same thing with the lying.
He lied of his own volition.
Are you afraid to look? Trump's screwing over tenants goes way back and is well documented. Why on earth would you believe Trump is for the working man? He has always cheated the working man.
He has shown disdain and contempt for the working man...and for the contractors who did work for him.
He is the sleaziest person ever to hold high office...and how anyone can see him as the champion of the common person is beyond comprehension.
Look at Trump's track record... He will suck up to wealthy or powerful people as long as he can use them.. Remember his mentor Roy Cohn? He was suck up pals with Joe McCarthy. Roy was also Trump's fixer until he was diagnosed with AIDS and Trump suddenly didn't know him.

Being a general doesn't make him a legal expert. The issue will be resolved by the Court. This particular judge, however has a history of saying fuck off to the government, so the outcome is a little less settled than it might be before another.
One does not have to be a "legal expert" to know that if you have been doing things you shouldn't be doing...and the FBI comes around to talk to you...MAYBE YOU SHOULD LAWYER UP BEFORE TALKING...ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE DECIDED TO LIE.
As for "this particular judge"...perhaps a reversal is forthcoming.
Okay...if it is...it is. I'll live with it.

Reportedly he had wanted to speak to White House Counsel first and the FBI said he could not.
It isn't really a reversal since his conviction isn't finalized by even the trial court.
It isn't like you have any option but to live with it one way or the other.
Mostly I will amused by the extra X chromosome making democrats act like 13 year old girls having a hormone-driven emotional crisis of the day. Other than that, I will probably watch some youtubes of old music. I have found a trove of blues acts doing covers of some ancient songs recently. And of course, there are the original recordings still to be heard.

There is a terrific op ed in the Washington Post today by Patti Davis, daughter of Ronald Reagan. She talks about the child in the White House...and about the children for whom his conduct is okay. It is headlined, "A child occupies the White House...and the world knows it."

Actually, Sr. James Comey testified before Congress that the FBI agents that interviewed Flynn thought he didn't lie to them. Flynn's problem was he trusted the bleeping FBI.

Yup...that pretty much sums it up!!!
I think the big thing here is he got almost nothing. Why. Wonder what he gave them. Many of the talking heads on TV, even some on Fox, think Flynn was way undercharged and even then, got almost no sentence. Wonder why. Also that bit about being tricked, that is so dumb I know he said it for a reason, Flynn isnt dumb.
