I don't have large files or videos or pictures stored on this thing. (I store all my porn on Hawkeye10's cloud account).

But seriously, what the fuck is taking up the my disk space? I've done those Windows utility fix and scans and still only 4 gigs our of 57 free.

I used to be a techy but forgot everything I knew when I made the mistake of going into management :(

I'm sure I'll get a lot of trash talk from my trumptard fans here - but any legit assistance would be appreciated!

I'm doing an analysis now - the majority of the storage is taken up by something called, "System and Reserved", then "Intalled Aps", then "Temporary files".

System and reserved: 25gb
Installed Apps: 24.

I guess I could uninstall some apps, but the Systems and Reserved files'll need to stay put! If only I could figure out a way to run all my apps remotely from another cloud storage or server!

I think actually LyinTits might be right - might be time to upgrade! Even a stopped clock can be correct twice a day, eh?

Same problem here. Trying to install the new version now but it's taking forever and I expect it to fail just like previous attempts. It won't recognize external memory either for the update.

I think a work-around might be a storage device, such as a jump-drive. Windows can use the external space to do its upgrade business, don't you think?

I've tried it a few times and it always fails. I've never liked the Windows 11 S and have had multiple problems with it over the past couple years including unexplained crashes.
 
So the workaround was deleting some of the programs I was no longer using - and Onedrive temporarily - Onedrive as a local program on my PC was taking up over 400mb - but I use it - therefore I need it installed so I'm about to reinstall it.
