what was the best time in American history?

see the right doesn't believe in this countrys government.

They cant think of a time when the founders ideas actually worked.

Actually, they worked to create the most formidable country world history has ever seen or will ever see for that matter. The engine was liberty. You and your ilk have sought to tear that down.

You ask a childish question. History is a continuum of events, it isn't some static photo that you can snap and say "this was nirvana".

BTW, where are we with those 1950s tax rates? You want them all back including the 20% lowest rate for those making under $20,000 as well as the top 91% bracket? Come on Deshy, surely you aren't a coward? Are you?

You love facts. Hit me with them baby

Take note folks the only right leaning people who even post now are these fucking brain dead trolls who do nothing but sling personal insults and know nothing about anything except what Rush and Hannity tells them.

the other right wing posters don't have the fucking guts to come here and admitt all their shit has turned into worse shit.

They have been YET AGAIN proven wrong by history YET instead of accepting reality they fucking hide and watch the trolls be trolls

I asked a question

YOU refuse to answer it because you know what will happen

The good times were NEVER produced by cons

I did answer your question. You are afraid to answer your OWN question. I know you seek simplistic answers to complex issues. But, hell answer your own question. We all know why you won't.

But, since you claim the "GOOD TIMES" were never produced by Conservatives, I take you to Calvin Coolidge. Remember the "Roaring 20s".

Now run along and stop embarrassing yourself

she unlike you would answer.

Not one of you can answer because you actually already KNOW the truth

Why don't you tell us what you want? You seem to be unhappy with every answer. I also notice that you aren't answering. You claim to want a debate, but your debate seems to be centered around this type of exchange.

Desh: I have a question

Others: We answer

Desh: You won't answer my fucking question

Others: We answered

Desh: You won't answer my fucking question

Others: Desh, why don't you answer your own question

Desh: I am the one asking the questions here. You won't answer my fucking question.

The '90's.

And it wasn't ideological, imo. It was a time when Democrats & Republicans worked together, and the government basically got out of the way to let the internet boom happen.

so does that mean you are not willing to admitt that that GREAT HEY DAY you are touting ended WORSE than this last right wing Push into all things deregulated?

gee I wonder why

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

why do you forget how fucked up the right was then?

they fought everything and investigated everything about Clinton and all they could find was a blow job

BTW the CBO gave the lions share of the credit to the 1993 ombra which NOT ONE REPUBLICAN voted for

Gore had to vote to break the tie.

the republican said it would destroy the economy.

they were wrong like always

Oh, no doubt. But legislatively, Clinton worked w/ them, and they worked w/ Clinton. They made a sincere effort to balance the budget, and they helped create a climate that was friendly to businesses & start-ups.

The Monica thing was a sideshow. In general, the decade was a great example of how the parties can work together for the common good, if they put aside partisanship.

Clinton worked with them?

he fought to get things done.

Obama has too but your idiots today are even worse than Newt.

this is the least effective congress in our entire history.

EVER

Desh, are you going to keep playing this game or are you going to tell us what you think the best time was? If you aren't going to answer your own question, you ostensibly insert yourself as the one who can just bitch about what everyone else says.

While I am sure that gives you great pleasure in your otherwise boring life, it is tedious for the rest of us with above normal cognition.

They vote against their own fucking bills if he says he will sign it.

the republican party we have today is nothing but fucking idiots who don't care about this country.

they are insane

EVER

Remember "triangulation?"

Both Clinton & Gingrich put aside their worst instincts for partisanship. Don't rewrite the history; more than anything, it was the balanced budget efforts that boosted investor confidence to get all of those start-ups going.
