What Would Happen if the Feds Attempted Forcible Confiscation of Firearms? Speculate.

Just curious what people think about how that would play out in the real world if it was tried.

My guess is that several states, counties and cities would immediately pass laws forbidding law enforcement from complying with the laws. I'm certain that many Sheriffs, chiefs and individual officers would refuse to comply as well.

I want to be absolutely clear that I don't advocate for violence, but I believe many otherwise law abiding citizens would target and kill police. Police would leave the job, en masse, resulting in exponential increases in violent and property crime, and general chaos would ensue. I believe that any attempt to confiscate firearms from law abiding Americans would result in far more deaths than all the mass shootings combined.

I'd like to hear what people think about the subject. Am I correct? Or would the millions of gun owners in the country passively comply? Liberals, feel free to make your dumb Barney Fife comments.

Think in practical terms.
How many "feds" are there ?
Who has arms, how many of them are there ?

They are massively outnumbered. And they know ut.

This day will never happen; at least in our lifetimes. For this to happen, a majority of the country would have to become as stupid as the left has become. Then, they would have to start winning elections in a HUGE way.

Watch to see what New Zealand does in the wake of their failed grab. All the government can realistically do is ask and we see how well that went.

That's pretty funny, is their any alarmist myth that the gun manufactures, aka NRA, could initiate that the gun crowd wouldn't believe? You can sleep well tonight, no one is coming to take away your toys, and regulating weapons doesn't mean confiscation

But to play along with your fantasy, no one has to knock on your door to render your guns useless, all they have to do is eliminate the sale of bullets, when your stockpile expires, their useless

The gun manufacturers own the NRA, and the myth is that the Gov't is coming to take away your guns, was very prevalent back in 2008 and 2012, gun sales went thru the roof, yet after eight years, no one came to take away anyone's toys, what a surprise

Toys are objects kids use for amusement, but otherwise, they are basically useless, the same can be said for guns, except of course kids don't play with them, just some adults, the majority know they aren't meant for amusement

So now you are going to tell us you have a Constitutional right to have bullets?

And no one has reducing crime as the primary goal of regulating access to guns, but rather, hoping to lessen the possibility of being murdered by a gun, especially some dimwit who has a beef with his boss or society in general
