First off it would never happen. There aren't enough anti-gun zealots in government. Then they would need the military another violation of the constitution that people in charge would ignore not counting that the troops are not going to turn their guns on the people. That might happen in some action movie but not in the real world.

I want to be absolutely clear that I don't advocate for violence, but I believe many otherwise law abiding citizens would target and kill police. Police would leave the job, en masse, resulting in exponential increases in violent and property crime, and general chaos would ensue. I believe that any attempt to confiscate firearms from law abiding Americans would result in far more deaths than all the mass shootings combined.

I'd like to hear what people think about the subject. Am I correct? Or would the millions of gun owners in the country passively comply? Liberals, feel free to make your dumb Barney Fife comments.
