It's not that they were duped, they weren't. The bushies insisted on having the vote three weeks before an election, that was criminal!

But the dems should have held firm and said we don't hold this vote until after the election because war should never be politicized. I have always blamed them for that. I did come to support Edwards because he at least admitted he was wrong, and because his economic policies were closest to mine.

I find it enraging when any republican who supported the war, or who claims the didn't but never said much if anything about it at the time, points fingers at dems. They should have been yelling over the bushies forcing the vote 3 weeks before the election. I will not ever except any lecture from them, ever.

And I don't make any apologies for that.

I have no problem critcizing the Democratic Party. I do it routinely.

I suspect they're going to cave, after making some relatively meaningless comprimises for accoutability.

I'm a partisan liberal. Liberal ideology isn't a failure, like con ideology.

And pure libertarian ideology has never even been tested in the real world, at the nation state scale. So, its nothing more than theoretical mental masturbation scribbled on a piece of paper.


I could list you about a dozen prosperous and successful countries on the planet that adhere to liberal social democratic values.

The most sustained growth of prosperity and the emergence of a strong middle class in this country came about because of liberal policies that began in the 30s.

Those are the facts, jack.

Hey you stupid cunt... It was Barney Frank and the Dems who proposed Freddy and Fanny make loans available to people who couldn't afford them. It was Dems marching in lockstep to prevent any reform of this 2 years ago. It is Dems who took more campaign contributions from Freddy and Fanny, than anyone else. It was clearly the Dems who "got us into this mess" and it will be largely Dems, who vote to bail us out of it now.

I didn't mean Taylor or any specific candidate. Americans are trapped in the two-party trap and 3rd parties are the only way to force more perspective into the process.

Of course, elections have to be fair and have integrity .. which of course American elections do not have.

3rd parties stood against the fraud .. both major parties were part of it.
