Why rightys want statues to honor the people who were trying to destroy the country for slavey, I will never understand. This would logically be a losing issue. Of course, the defenders ignore them and a couple of statues with Jefferson, a slaver, are tossed in with the southern soldiers. Most of the statues were erected long after the war. They were designed to push slavery and anti-black themes in the faces of those who thought the civil war was settled. Yeah, some are overly enthusiastic about toppling statues and have made mistakes. That is what the rightys focus on.
There is a discussion on Washington and Jefferson's slavery . It is a fair talk we did not have before. We are learning our true roots. The myths are being scrutinized. We will be better for it.

Do you poison the well every post? The girl is anecdotal. It is not proof. Disagreeing with her is permissible. Venezuela collapsed because they were a country that relied on a single product, oil. That made them vulnerable to the manipulation of international oil cartels that do not want a share the wealth government to exist. We ignore videos that are meaningless. Were you really convinced by what she said? Toppling statues caused the collapse? Hell just push them back up and wealth is guaranteed.

You did not understand the video enough to comment on it, but at least you tried. She NEVER claimed that toppling statues caused the collapse.
 
Nerdberg's post was absolutely amazing. It is incredible how somebody could watch that video and see somebody claiming that the toppling of statues caused the collapse. Lefties are dumber than shit.
