Which party represents the future

You are gripped by a dogma that is unsupported by actual, real world fact.

Every fact anyone knows agrees with what I wrote. Unlike your goodself I don't make 'em up to suit whatever argument happens to pass through my mind. And as far as I know I have no dogma, just a passably clear mind. Leave the rotgut alone for a day or two and try it.

Neither party represents the future, they are both currently trying very hard to pretend the represent the present.

The truth is they represent the special interests of their own insiders. The party system is dead in the future (I hope).

Well, doing without will be quicker suicide, obviously.

Obviously not... If you want to reduce CO2 without destroying the economy then natural gas and nuclear are the answers not solar and wind. The Socialist nonsense in the plan is just a tack on of radical Leftist Social and Economic Justice that shouldn't even be there. Forced retrofitting of old buildings is a huge and costly mistake. Bringing back passenger rail in the US is utter stupidity.

The world isn't going to end in 8 or 10 years regardless of what the Left thinks and says.

The current so-called republican party and its lawlessly hacked in Putin puppet tRump represents a COVID-19 atrocity on humanity and the second great depression that goes with with in particular against humanity. The true Democratic party represents a party that cleans up the filth and atrocities created by the un American republican insurgency.

The GOP can't survive on it's own. It's former Dems putting them in office.

. The Republicans on the other hand are harder to figure out. They're all over the map. The thing they won't create is some religious theocracy and mendacious puritan state of repression like Progressives and Democrats claim.

They will. Look at Alabama. Look at how much they fight women's rights. Look at how they fight gay marriage. Look at how they fight for "alternative science" in the classroom.

If you want to cherry pick local examples, it cuts both ways. States like California, Illinois, and New York push radical Leftist agendas into classrooms and onto citizens with equal vigor.

Donald Trump’s coalition in 2016 was an archaism, a throwback — the last gasp of a fading white America, a last dance with the voting blocs that once delivered Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan their landslides, a resentment-soaked attempt to maintain the power that white Christians once took for granted even as its demographic basis slips away. The Democratic Party’s coalition, on the other hand, looks like the American future — a kaleidoscope of diversity, a multiethnic majority that only voter suppression and the rural bias of the Senate can keep at bay.

I guess the left was glad to see Ginsberg go--part of the "fading white America."
