White kids riot over - surfing?

Ok, what is the definition of a riot?

Seeing as that I was living in South Central LA during the Rodney King riots that is what I usually think of when I hear riot. However much smaller acts can also be called riots. How do we define what is a riot and what isn't?

Are you saying all those who rioted were white?

Are you saying blacks don't surf?

Are you saying it's OK to riot for "economic or legal justice"; code for it's OK when blacks do it?

true... it is a matter of degrees.

A true Riot are the ones I listed above, historically they last days and days, involve casualties and wide scale damage and have a core issue to ignite them.


Rodney king was the VERDICT.
Detroit was a Race Riot.
Watts was a Race Riot
Crown Heights was over a Traffic Accident where an Orthodox Jew accidentally killed an African American child named Gavin Cato. This resulted in Lemrick Nelson and a Mob of African Americans murdering Australian Rabbinical Student Yankel Rosenbaum.

I said I don't like riots; no they aren't ok. But I do understand when someone riots for a reason that deeply impacts them. Still wrong, but if you're going to riot, do it for a good reason. (And no, not code word for "ok when black people do it" - OWS was not a black person movement. )

Sports riots? bah humbug.

And yes, this looked like a pretty white scene. So where's the outrage from people who would be outraged if it was black youth?

No...OWS was more along the lines of Organized civil disobedience...

I never called them a Riot. Blocking streets and an odd broken window isnt a riot... thats what OWS was.

Now the Seattle Riots against the G-8 Summit was predominantly Whites but was agitated by Several Leftist Anarchist groups.

Anti Capitalist demonstrations are resoundingly White and Aligned with Liberal Politics.

Look like you appointed yourself the spokes-model for injecting race into this apparently non-racial disturbance.

Name the riots you "understood" because they happened for "a good reason"?

have you not seen the threads for years from the right when ever they can find a case of a black person or persons commiting some crime?


I have posted stories of people who were heros who were black and the right hardly touches them.

boy they love the black while commiting a crime stories.

I posted another on this morning about a ten year old girl who helps save the neighbor kids from a fire.
