White Privilege 101

Back at ya. Can I be Caucasian for a day too, or not? You probably don't want us Hispanics posing as white people. I understand.
Hispanics isn’t a race, it’s an ethnicity and you are either white, or black, generally. There is no Hispanic race.

The question still stands and you are still dodging it.

Really? Mexicans aren't "people of color"? Then why do libs accuse conservatives of "hating brown people" when we oppose illegal immigration?

No, I wouldn't be black for a day. For one thing, it would accomplish nothing, for another, it's not truly possible. It's just another idiotic hypothetical "gotcha" talking point by leftist loons.

Thank you for answering. You wouldn’t want to be black for a day.

I don’t accuse conservatives of hating brown people, many of my Latino and Hispanic friends are conservatives. Generalizations are lazy and inaccurate.

No, I said I wouldn't, and couldn't be black for a day. But thanks for proving my point about this being nothing more than a "gotcha".
There has been cases of whites posing as blacks, to gain perspective on what it is like. It isn’t as far fetched as you believe. It funny you see it as a gotcha, it is actually meant to make one think about others situation.

I can have empathy without putting on blackface.

Interesting, I haven’t seen a lot of that I’m your post towards blacks.

What? When have I ever said anything racist? I know you want sooo bad for me to be racist, but I'm simply not. Unlike you, I actually call out supposed "conservative" racists on this board. Though, you do have a point, it is somewhat of an exercise in futility. Half of them are likely POEs anyways.

Wrong, so wrong, and fortunately, dinosaurs like you are dying off. My son is dating a beautiful black woman, the young are a future to a better world because they don’t believe the bs you spew. They embrace the human race.

Good for him! My oldest son is married to a beautiful black woman; they have two kids. My grandson will be 18 this summer. Smart, handsome, smart-alecky too. lol He got a full scholarship to LSU; he plans to become a pharmacist, unless he switches to physical therapist. Smart kid.

Mexicans/Hispanics are "mixed race" in that they have the genetics of the Caucasian Spanish who first colonized C. and S. America, and the indigenous ppl who were already here. So in a sense they're not considered 100% Caucasian. I guess that's why those demographic questions you're sometimes asked to fill out have a separate line for "Hispanic."

Do you have a Hispanic appearance? Have you ever felt slighted or looked down on because of your ethnicity?
