I want to see his date of birth on the records. 1892?

LOL

I want to know who he hand picked to look at the records and I want to know if any of them have medical degrees so as to be able to spot problems.

Side question (really a question... because I do not know)

Has Obama released his medical records?

I don't think so.

I believe McCain did this on his own accord to mollify concerns about his age and health, particularly in light of his relatively recent skin cancer treatment.

Having said that, I don't think it is appropriate for candidates to be required to release all of their medical records, but they should be required to undergo a routine physical type examination to ensure they're healthy.

I agree 100%... a current physical should be done, but they need not release past medical records, as they have no relevance. The candidate is either currently healthy or they are not.

Past records only have relevance to the yentas...

They are not required.

Dont be silly, a history of ABC disease, or a pre-disposition to ABC disease, can easily be seen in a record and not show up at a physical exam.

So You dont think it would be relevant if McCain had a dibilitating cancer 4 years ago that is currently in remission and undetectable at a physical exam, but where 73% have a re-occurance within 6 years?

And we have a right to discriminate against a candidate because he/she may have a predisposition to a disease ??? C'mon.

Don't be a jackass... we do not elect a President/politician on the odds they may or may not catch ABC disease. If they are currently healthy... good enough.

True dat.

Its not feasible, but I think it would be great if candidates had to pass a mental health exam. Bush certainly wouldn't have passed. He would have been diagnosed as a petulant child-like person, with delusions of grandeur and a propensity for self destructive, anti-social, and sado-masochistic behaviour.
