Who Here Supports Freedom Of Speech.

Nobody? I didn't think so. Why do I not think so? Because to support something, it is something you must insist upon. Openly.
For everybody to hear. When it comes to freedom of speech at any forum, I've never known anybody to do that. For one reason, doing so would be discussing moderator actions. And that isn't allowed at most forums. But I have some quotes by various people of the thing you wouldn't defend. I wonder what you will make of them.

How many times you going to do the same lame things after being banned?

how about the fact you have nothing worth talking about......

Hold that thought and read post #62. That aside, I think that freedom of speech is a worthy topic. In another thread I spoke about president Chump wanting to murder children. That is a worthy topic. Especially if it is one of your children he wants to expose to the possibility of death. In another thread in the off topic section I started a thread called "Free officer Derik Chauvin." (Which I invite you to reply to) With all the morons protesting in support of the criminal George Floyd, along with wanting to defund or outright abolish the police, that too is a worthy topic. Even if I do say so myself.

I have been banned from a forum with "U S" in its title over 20 times. But here's the thing about freedom of speech. Or anything worthwhile. You have to fight for it. Otherwise you are defeated. You have become somebody's bitch. That isn't my way. It at least in theory isn't the American way. Neither should it be your way. Join me and fight the good fight.

You always try to sneak back, but you eventually give yourself away.

I'm a big defender of free speech. But 1st Amendment free speech restricts government from abridging speech, not private entities such as internet forums.

LOL. I know this poster from Debate Politics site.

He's probably been banned there more than here. His idea of freedom of speech means he doesn't have to follow rules and can post whatever bastard thought he has anywhere he wants. He gets canned more than tuna.

You are entitled to freedom of speech, but that right does not make you immune to the consequences of that speech. Example being the common law throughout the 50 states of being arrested for "inciting a riot", in which speech is one of the means.

And so it goes.

If you routinely punish people for speaking then you do not support free speech.

Depends upon what they are saying....during official "war time", advocating for the enemy can bring a charge of treason. You can stand on a soap box and scream bloody murder about "femi-nazi's, victimization of white people's rights, etc., etc. But the second your speech gravitates towards direct confrontation or agitation that results in a riot or public disturbance, your butt is going to jail for inciting such. This is why the ACLU defends Nazi's right to march, and local police enforce that right.

Opposing opinion groups will always show up no matter the topic. That is their right too....and hence the constant conundrum of supporting free speech while opposing content, and inhibiting speech that is geared to incite conflict.

And the band played on.

Do you know what this place is? It is a place for the general public to discuss topics that interest them. In that sense, you can consider it a home. People can come into this "home" and at least in theory, say what they will. That is the whole point. If people aren't allowed to do that, it has failed it's purpose for being. For some, they prefer being treated like somebody's bitch. To be told what they can and can't say. Me myself, I prefer freedom of speech. As long as what I have to say is true, any 'homeowner" can stick their objections up their ass. Nobody has to look at what I "tape onto their kitchen wall." They can just put me on ignore.

If this website's owner bans you, how is your "freedom of speech" being violated? I don't understand. You're free to start your own website and spout all the nonsense you want.

I am a huge defender of freedom of speech, but unfortunately I don't believe that extends to internet forums.

People often mistake freedom to say what they want with freedom to be heard. That is usually the mistake those who complain about my thread bans make.
