So none of the old men in here admit to Viagra I see? I call bull@#$& on that!

I’m 56. Haven’t developed that need yet. Staying active helps … and having good genes. My youngest aunt on my mom's side of the family, the youngest of 21 kids, was born when my grandfather was 72.

Me neither! well,...Im 58 but age is all in a persons mind. Want to stay young,....engage in young activities. Today I will go swimming, jet skiing, and water skiing. Wouldnt have it any other way. We only get one shot at it!
My brain, lungs, and manhood still work, it's the arthritis that limits my activities. I can still forage but I can no longer hunt.

Thats awesome. Most of the men in my family live quite old unless something unnatural like a car accident or some other unforeseen situation happens. Case in point.....I was born in 1964,....my dad was born in 1914,....my Grandpa? Born in 1858 in Austria. He lived to be 99 years old....just died at home in his sleep one night. Imagine the changes he saw taking place in his life. From horse and wagon to airplanes, to Sputnik. If he would have lived just a bit longer he would have also seen our first moon landing!

The BP pill I take is a low dose of Losartan. If I keep my weight <= 220 lbs my BP stays good. Alas I let it creep up to 235 or so at times so the doc keeps me on a low dose. He tried Lisinopril but it caused a cough and with me being a teacher and a preacher that wouldn’t work at all.

The only prescription I take is also a BP pill -- like yours it is an ACE inhibitor. It's also the lowest dose they make so the occasional cough isn't a real problem. My doc said that ACE inhibitors also have some protective effect against lung infection in COVID. Must be true; I had it in early February and it stayed out of my lungs (where the ACE2 cells that COVID targets live).

There is a direct connection between our pill popping culture and the willingness to get 4 jabs.

Yes. It's called "an appreciation for modern medicine." You're not one of those anti-GMO whackos too, are you? Do you see blood transfusions as the work of the Devil?

I see your poll has JPPers taking more than 10 pills a day. That fits in with the article I read saying that Americans on average take 13 pills a day. One high dose psychedelic trip by every American would bankrupt big pharma.

It also fits with a healthy but aging America. Both my dad and uncle had quadruple bypasses around age 63. My heart is very healthy thanks to taking Lipitor-type meds for cholesterol since my mid-40s. Naproxen relieves minor pain from arthritis, something I notice when missing a dose and outside a lot. Flonase and Montelukast relieve all the annoyances of allergies. There's 5 pills right there. The rest are mainly supplements like potassium, magnesium and melatonin.

Lipitor allows you to continue eating like a pig, and smoke and drink as much as you want. That's the culture we live in.
