Why are there no whites in commercials anymore?

It's about companies wanting to reach a wider demographic. The more inclusive a company can be, the more money it makes.

Stop being such a stereotypically stupid right-winger.
 
Commercials on television and like media are primarily about one thing: Name recognition. They try to repeat the company / product name at least 7 times during the commercial (try counting and you'll find it's true). This by multiple study is the minimum number of repetitions for memory building. Outside of that, there isn't much to commercials.

This could still be accomplished, while also including white actors. Not having whites because they are "bad" is racist.

Have you just learned to reevaluate a little? TV has had bumbling fathers with mothers being the real power behind the throne, for your whole lives. Commercials have been the same for several decades.

I dont pay them so I will provide no link but the NYT's back in 2005 when they still did journalism did a story on advertisers portraying men poorly.....it has been going on for a long time. It is basically exactly the way women were done in the late 50's and early 60's, which they howled about, but it is Just Fine And Dandy to do it to men now.

Yes, the sitcom is formulamatic in its set up. Typically, dad is a bumbling but highly paid something. Mom is the smart and has commonsense savvy. The daughter is a a genius and very practical while the son is an pain in the ass.
Or you have the Archie Bunker version were you have the dad is a practical conservative asshole but comes off as such while the rest of the cast are likable liberals, progressives, and leftists who are quirky.
Mom on those is an old fashioned clueless nice person who you can feel sorry for.
