The 1st ammendment never says "Churches will not be taxed". That's not a right. That's a privilidge that society grants to religious organizations.

I have no idea how anyone could determine that the freedom to practice religion means that churches can't have taxes placed on them, even at the same rates as everyone else. The tax exemption is part of the law, it isn't granted by the constitution.

Ohh that is how many republicans still think bush is doing a great job, not just acceptible. I posted on it in the past.
I think 30% of the country more generally agrees with him.
