Obama, (left of center), would disagree with your assessment. He freed up over 150 billion to boost Iran's economy and supercharge their military war machine. Not only that, but Obama signed the Iran nuclear deal, the worst deal EVER SIGNED by America in it's entire history.

As far as I remember, there were parts of the plant that were off limits to UN Inspectors, they had to give Iran months notice before showing up and allowed Iran to keep checks on it's own nuclear inventory.
