They may look like hypocrites, but lefties cannot actually be hypocrites. In order to be a hypocrite, one must have a standard that they preach but do not live up to. Since lefties have no standard, they cannot be hypocrites. Always compare lefties to dogs, and you will better understand how they function. Can a dog be a hypocrite? Hell no, but we can still love our dogs.

Now he's proving that righties are stupid. Righties are the real hypocrites, claiming to be all moral and Christian, yet they lie constantly and support lifelong cheaters and bullies like Trump. If the right had any sense of morality, Trump would have lost his very first primary with not a single vote that he didn't pay for.

You're right, of course, but there is more to it than simply throwing that up in their face. We have to forgive them.

I know it makes no sense.

But the human mind is a mysterious thing.

And this situation didn't just happen overnight.

They probably began by believing in a concept that Trump appears to fulfill. Smaller government. Fewer regulations. Lower taxes. More capitalism, less government. That's the draw. They saw Trump as more able to deliver that dream than Hillary. So they began by just looking the other way. Over time, they simply block out more and more information. They are given ways to do that. Call it fake news, whatever.

Good people can make mistakes.

I have good friends, relatives, acquaintances who have made this extended mistake which takes years to manifest. Good people!

They don't want to face reality. Facing reality means admitting they made this big mistake. That's hard to do.

So they just look the other way and believe what they choose to believe.

It doesn't make them bad people.

Good people have made this bad mistake. It was easy for them. They were drawn in over time and now they have no easy way out. Some of them will never learn. It doesn't make them bad. Just different.

I think Trump is slime. I can see the big picture. I know there are some really deplorable people who support him. But not everybody who supports him is like that. There are good people who still support him. And they are having a difficult time dealing with that as he slowly goes down.

If we ever want to have a more united country, a less polarized country, a more functional country; we need to have compassion for these people and we need to lay the groundwork to reunite with them, accept them back, forgive them. If we don't do that, if we drive them further away, we destroy the USA. We ensure dire polarization. We drive them toward the next Trump, whoever that is.

We have to look at the big picture here. If we want more Trumps, if we want Trump to just be the first in a whole train of Trumps, then go ahead and hate Trump supporters, call them slime, call them the worst things you can think of. Let that hatred control your entire view. Keep the door tightly shut for *ever* reuniting with them. Go ahead and shut them OUT forever.

I am wise. I am just trying to share some of my wisdom.

For the good of the United States.

Because I want to see this country endure.

I want to see the exit strategy from this Trump predicament, this nasty zit in our history that we are living right now.
 
Being a Trumpy has more in common with a religion than politics. The Trumpys believe in him. None of his horrible gaffs bother them at all. They defend him like a Catholic defended the molesting priests. You are attacking their religion. Of course you are factually trying to save it.
The anger is because you are criticizing a person they have elevated in their minds. They think Trump is special and only he can save the people from the secret state. Trumpys are nuts and cannot evaluate.

I'm not really here to make excuses for either party, any president, or race, creed, or color. Politics is not a sporting event for me.

My political goal in life is to fix the things that are broken, even the playing fields, stand up for what's right, and stand up to what's wrong. What I see that divides us is we do not all agree on what's right and what's wrong.

I judge the actions of others, I look at the consequences of past actions, and I look at the consequences of non-actions. I realize that some things cannot be afforded, while some things you can't afford not to do- because of consequences.

I do not see a Constitution that only limits us- I see a Constitution that gives the people the power to make changes and improvements that are needed along the way that allows us to form a better union, keep it fair for all, protect our freedom, protect democracy, protect our shores, and protect our people.

I'm just tired of the expressed hatred towards each other, political sport, Fake News, blatant lies, racism, corruptness, bias, greediness, the power grabbing, false prophets, selfishness, recklessness, carelessness, and weaknesses that are all out there as obstacles in making life better for all of us.
