Why does Canada put up with the truckers?

They don’t have to be tough, just twice a day ticket them for violating municipal traffic laws, if it is like any other major city, traffic tickets aren’t cheap, and four or five days straight, twice a day will add up to a hefty sum, which sooner or later they will have to pay to renew their drivers license

And the clowns at the Detroit bridge, they are pissing off their fellow truckers who can’t get their goods across the bridge

can we assume that you wanted BLM and ANTIFA to be ticketed for each day of looting and vandalism which they considered to be demonstrating ?

The have a right to protest - i dont know their law ( do they even have a Constitution?)
Trudeau call them every name in the book, so if they could get tickets they would

Trudeau is getting heat from his own party for calling them names and refusing to meet

Trudeau's own party is starting to turn on him over Covid restrictions

lawmaker from Justin Trudeau’s own caucus is accusing the prime minister of dividing and stigmatizing Canadians by politicizing vaccine mandates and Covid-19 restrictions.

Joël Lightbound delivered the stunning, scathing assessment Tuesday in Ottawa with the big rigs of the so-called Freedom Convoy just outside the door. The convoy protests against Covid measures have grabbed global attention and paralyzed the Canada’s capital city for more than a week.

Both the tone and the policies of my government changed drastically on the eve and during the last election campaign,” said Lightbound, who convened a press conference to deliver his message. "A decision was made to wedge, to divide and to stigmatize. I fear that this politicization of the pandemic risks undermining the public's trust in our public health institutions.”

They have the right.
i would think so, they are grassroots, and have a lot of popular support
Trudeau is demonzing them, but the public seems to support

Good for the Truckers. stand up against federal over-reach and politization

Those caught at it were arrested were they not? Truckers are breaking the law with zero consequences

No one said they didn’t, but they are directly breaking the law, and consequently should be held accountable

No they don’t, ninety percent of Canadian truckers are vaccinated so who in the hell other than American right wing zealots are supporting them

Civilized people allow for peaceful protest.

Them days are mostly over as the West dies and the Butal Fucks the Chinese scoop up the remains.

Third time, can’t these people read, no one said these dimwits can’t protest, rather, the local police should ticket them daily for breaking municipal traffic law, when the fines start adding up, they’ll leave, with all rights come responsibilities
