Nah, not just me. Not just males. I feel from reading your posts for a long time that you "hate" conservatives in general, male or female. You'd probably hate my wife even.

I comes across quite clear when you get something like this (a genuine show of racial insensitivity.....not racism to me) to rant about. The hate really shows.
 
Umm a broad brush there leaning. there are conservatives and then there are those who supported bush. Which some "conservatices" still do. 30% of republicans still support bush according to the polls.
 
Uscitizen, I have no doubts the "hate" -as I see it- swings both ways. I know of conservative "christians" (so called) who absolutely despise what the other side stands for, even to the point of hate. But this is the very attitude that I get from Darla's posts. It is also the attitude that I get from Dano's. Thus, to an outsider looking in, I pronounce it a tie.
 
Ohh on the hate angle. Gotcha now. Although I think comparing Darla to Dano is a big mistake there is not any comparison. Dano is a political parrot and Darla does think and reconsider things.
Darla hates anything that is associated with causing the war and continuing it. I have to agree with her on that.
Although I am not sure where the line between hate and strong dislike is.

If some people (some war proponents) were to die a painful death I would not care much as imho they would deserve it...Unlike the innocents that have died in the war...

He doesn't have a constant set of beliefs. It sort of depends on how he's feeling or which side has been more successful debating that day.

I would guess and say it might have to do with....

"I'm sick and tired of you whiners bitching up a storm anytime someone alludes to the gop or cons being racists. Man up and wear your title bitch. You earned it. No one wants to hear you crying."

I have not gone through the "other" threads people have mentioned, so I am not sure exactly what set you off on the above rant, but still it would appear to be far beneath you. Just my opinion.

It was me retyping the same words Grind has used about "liberals".

I have taken clear note that not one person has said one word to Grind about it.

But several have to me.

Why?

In fact, it was roundly and hotly defended, mostly by the Libertarians, the Republicans being too scared to say anything one way or the other, registering their opinion with their silence.

Because we expect that crap from Grind. Kind of like we expect idiotic nonsense from Dano and Cypress. We don't expect that crap from you. Which is NOT to say that you cannot do it, just that it took me by surprise and thus, I questioned it. I did not intend to offend you by my comments... just tryin to straighten the little woman out is all.... :rolleyes: :bleh:

This was from yesterday Immie, when no one on the conservative side who was here was doing anything but defending Dano, or staying very quiet.

I may have come into the argument late and I clearly did not see what Dano was doing and I definitely missed him stating it was blackface (if he did) before the whole thing blew up.

I will say though that had I realized the racial contents and meaing behind the avatar, I probably would have called him on the carpet for it myself although privately at first.

I'm not even pissy now. I was at one point, but then I decided to get calm and just try and rationally see what was going on here.

Okay, apology accepted. :)

But, I will say that I see your point in the initial post.

It has become easier for me to see the hypocrisy and, yes, racism of the GOP and some of the Religious "Right" since I said "screw them all". It is hard to believe that my dislike of Bill and Hillary led me so far the other way that I fell into the trap of the others.

Thus, I no longer want any thing to do with either party of cons. That's con as in con artist not conservatives or ex-prison inmates in case you didn't realize it.
