Oh christ, Lorax and I get called communists and terrorist lovers several times a week on this board, and no one rushes to our defense. But the minute a liberal hits back, its all of a sudden an issue of them going overboard? The symbol dano used was a racist symbol. If he gets called a racist - and rightly so IMO - its suddenly liberals over reacting.
Because we expect that crap from Grind. Kind of like we expect idiotic nonsense from Dano and Cypress. We don't expect that crap from you. Which is NOT to say that you cannot do it, just that it took me by surprise and thus, I questioned it. I did not intend to offend you by my comments... just tryin to straighten the little woman out is all....

well i said "most" and it was clear that it was a generalization and clearly not targeted at any particular person. People probably got more mad at darla because she was outright calling people bitches to specific individuals.
Grind, in fact, you made the post right in the middle of what was going on yesterday, and I thought it was very clear you were refering to myself, bac and cypress at the time. But you presented it as a generalization.
I on the other hand called you personally, and Dano personally, little bitches. And yet five people besides you and Dano took issue with it, and no people, other than me, took issue with your broad swipe at little liberal bitches. Now, why would leaning right have a problem with my calling you and Dano little bitches, but have no problem with you calling most of the liberals on the board little bitches?
You can't even bring yourself to think it could be sexism, anymore than you can bring yourself to think that what dano did was racism.

Its sexism. Its why Desh catches so much crap. She confrontational and she's a partisan. But, she rarely if ever steps over the line. But the fact that she's confrontational as a female, sets her apart for special critcism in the con mind.

About Desh, that is very true, she gets terribly slammed because she is a woman, and yet not on of the people who slam her would ever even consider for a moment that sexism might be part of the reason. So how can you address it when people are in total denial?

And trust me I have no problems calling cypress one directly if I felt it was warranted.

You're equally convinced that the only reason someone could disagree with blac or desh is that they are racist or sexist respectively.
I disagree with both of them frequently, and I hope that both know better than to think me sexist or racist. In the heat of online debate people throw a lot of words around that they would never use in daily conversation.
You might call your opponent a dick or a bitch, depending on gender. Is that sexism? You would have attacked them anyway, regardless. People shouldn't ignore sexism and racism, but it hurts more than it heals to try to find their presence in every single action you see.
Grow some balls. You have a crush on Darla, that's why you kiss up to her. That's the only reason.

No, I don't think that I do believe this. I disagree with desh and bac on occassion, though far less frequently than you do. It is the posters who show real venom over their disagreement with say, Desh, but don't with liberal men. I can spot it when I see it. It's in the venom.

There are unquestionably some male posters who take issue with a woman contradicting them moreso than they would another male taking the same opposing stance. It's a foolish, primitive attitude usually left over from a fundamentalist upbringing.

The KGB is in full swing tonight..darla and cippie gathering followers by the droves...glad the BBQ is almost hot enough for the steaks...maybe I will bbq em' some other night(Commies that is-steak of the T-bone genre can't wait)..in the meantime...wake up 'children of the corn' darla et al are snowing you/praising you at the same time..they use to call it 'mis-information' back in the day...now it is just plain ya can screw me if you let me screw you first...sad really!
Back to the bbq..maybe I will add some more... time limiting a medium rare tasty steak!
