Officially it does not matter. But many other "reasons" can be found for not voting for him.

Outspoken rascism is not common. Behind the curtain rascism is though.
 
I admit, its sheer speculation on my part, that skin color would be one issue that a cross-dressing, new yorker could beat a mild-mannered, pragmatic black man by twenty points in oklahoma. Interestingly, a white southern democrat clobbers all the GOP candidates, and a woman democrat does significantly better than the black guy, even to the point of being competitive.

I could be wrong that race plays a factor - at least a small one - but I don't think I'm wrong.

It says an awful lot that Hillary is doing as well as she is in oakieland.

I'm going to guess that most people in America, including myself, have no idea what you are talking about when you call Rudy a cross-dresser. So while you like to have fun with it on a political chat board it has zero effect in the real world.

And I'm going to guess if Rudy did cross dress it was probably either for a skit on TV or some event where it was done as a joke. Now if he likes to cross dress in his private life like Marv Albert used to wear women's underwear then that is another story. But I would guess the former is the case.
 
I printed out a few of Rudys cross dressing photos and hung them on the bulletin board down at the country store. Ahh the reaction was a sight to watch :D

Edwards consistently fairs better against GOP candidates in national polls.

I have heard GOP strategists say that they have only 2 hopes in '08: that Iraq will take a dramatic turn for the better, or that Hillary will be the Dem nominee.

Really, it's there only chance. If the candidate is someone like Edwards or Obama, we're looking at a Reagan-esque landslide for the Democrats...
 
Mondale and Gephart are closest to the Union man Edwards, he plays well only with the far left anticorporate losers. Nothing moderate about Edwards his only a longshot rockstar for the mondale dems

I would not vote Hillary under any circumstances.

As the economy gets worse, the "anticorporate losers" will gain in popularity.
You are counting on the crash to buy cheap, Edwards is counting on it to meke him win.
