Communists have killed WAY more people than fascists. They've put more people in totalitarian slavery and poverty than any other form of government. They've made economic shambles out of nation after nation where they've gotten power. What's not to like about that-- If you're a masochist?

My post #5 asked you to justify your claim that "socialists have taken it upon themselves to excuse Communism’s crimes". It said nothing about the Democratic Party.
If you want to change the subject, feel free, but do try to be more subtle about it.

Staying for the moment with the original subject, one of the great critics of totalitarianism was George Orwell, who called himslf a democratic socialist. He never tried to excuse Communism's crimes. I don't know what he thought of the Democratic Party. :)
