Why the DEMOCRAT'S October surprise on "Trump's taxes" won't matter

Is that so? Where your proof?

BTW, the national budget has increased year on year for decades. Presidents don't have authority or the ability to "cut back on the national budget", and it's not the president's job to pas spending bills.

Did he? Post your evidence.

I'll understand if you can't, of course.

Nuttinburger is a true bullshitter but what's worse he's useless at it.

Tom, none of them have any evidence that the failing NYT story is true. And they know it. Have you read the article? I suspect none of them have.

I must confess that I haven't but I will now, had a subscription to it but let it lapse. The NYT have never ever made any pretence of being the least bit fair and balanced as indeed has the Bezos owned WaPo. Anyway looks like Jarhead is awaiting further orders from the DNC, maybe he needs SloJo's magic teleprompter.

I posted the entire article in this thread. Posts 8, 9, and 11.

Just looked at the link provided by Rashid Naseem, the NYT's is just pure BS. There is nothing there but as is typical with scum like them they leave the 'meat' till the end, hoping that the usual sheeple only read the headlines. Brad is an even bigger arsehole than usual and that's saying something. Still Joanie and Doris will get a stirring in their loins, so that's something I suppose.

Yeh sorry missed that, looks like I'm guilty of the crime I accuse Mott of, my bad. Anyway I have read it now, it's just pure hackery typical knocking copy.

It's nearly 10,000 words long, and not one syllable is verifiable, Tom.

I smell a DEMOCRAT.

A lawyer for the Trump Organization, Alan Garten, denied to the failing New York Times that the president paid a small amount of taxes – saying President Trump "has paid tens of millions of dollars in personal taxes to the federal government, including paying millions in personal taxes since announcing his candidacy in 2015.”

“The failing New York Times’ story is riddled with gross inaccuracies. Over the past decade the President has paid tens of millions of dollars in personal taxes to the federal government," Garten said. "They rejected our repeated requests that they show us any of the documentation they purport to be relying on to substantiate their claims."

He added: "Obviously this is just part of the Times’ ongoing smear campaign in the run up to the election.”

The failing New York Times did not release the copies of Trump’s tax filings they claimed to have received, saying they were "protecting sources".

So what law is he breaking because his businesses are making a loss? Something by the way, that is common enough knowledge ffs.

It’s not a crime to be a terrible businessman.... to blow a trust fund is very American, it just doesn’t qualify you to be president.

Claiming to have “obtained Donald Trump’s tax information extending over more than two decades,” the failing NYT admits its findings amount to problems most businesses deal with: “struggling properties, vast write-offs, an audit battle.”

The article also admits “the filings will leave many questions unanswered, many questioners unfulfilled,” and also kills off the idea that President Trump’s finances were somehow linked to Russia. The piece reads: “Nor do they reveal any previously unreported connections to Russia.”

A lawyer for the President said: “Over the past decade, President Trump has paid tens of millions of dollars in personal taxes to the federal government, including paying millions in personal taxes since announcing his candidacy in 2015.”

The failing New York Times failed to include the details of the returns in its reporting, admitting in its own article: “The Times declined to provide the records, in order to protect its sources.”

Your assertion that his debt makes him a national security risk is correct
