Why the Electoral College?

Republicans freed the slaves. Republicans gave slaves the right to vote. Democrats were against both. Democrats owe blacks reparations, not Republicans.

The seceding states...seceded from the Union because of the Union's actions regarding slavery.

THEY SAID SO IN THEIR DECLARATIONS OF SECESSION.

THEY SAID IT.

So stop with the bullshit.

The American conservatives of Civil War days were on the wrong side of history...just as they have always been.

Actually...LIBERALS freed the slaves. LIBERALS helped get freed black slaves the right to vote. LIBERALS helped get women the right to vote.

AMERICAN CONSERVATIVES were against any of that happening.
