Why would this comment shock anyone?

Because I dare to challenge the "Soft Bigotry of Low Expectations"?

Because I respect the people trapped on SNAP to be able to get a job, work hard, and have the pride of providing for themselves?

Because I dare to think that their skin-tone doesn't mean a damn thing, and that they can easily be my equal, working for a living, and providing for their own needs?

Because I dare to NOT play the Identity Politics Racist Game?

There is nothing so cruel, as deliberately creating people utterly dependent on Government Programs to survive. I would never be so cruel!

The deviation into Christmas and holidays is basically done. Nothing prevents you from talking about Schumer and the shutdown during this entire side discussion. This deviation occurred because the lack of SNAP benefits wandered into churches as they help the truly poor, but denounced the lazy. Christ has also done this.

There is the mistaken idea that theft of wealth by the government to give to someone else is some kind of compassion.

I would certainly hope so! Some will be too set in their ways, or just dumbed down by drugs and lack of mental exercise...

But I think many will find themselves entire new people, with a renewed hope and self-respect!

I am looking forward to it.
