Will Meadows Flip?

I'd recommend the max, but not a lawyer. It seems that judges vary between half and 2/3s of what the prosecution asks...which is usually the max. LOL

Cases should be based on individual circumstances unless there is good reason to try two or more people together such as Eric and his mommy.

RICO cases are fuzzy to me, but my understanding is that it's a verifiable conspiracy to commit a criminal enterprise.

Criminal enterprise means a group of persons sharing a common purpose of engaging in criminal conduct, associated in an ascertainable structure distinct from a pattern of criminal activity, and with a continuity of existence, structure and criminal purpose beyond the scope of individual criminal incidents.
RICO is interesting. The conspiracy is the easy part to prove. Each defendant must commit two or more illegal acts in the process, though.

I believe that the lesser players will be convicted and charged. I believe trump will walk in every case unless the prosecution is willing to continue to retry each case.

In every single grand jury, there was always only one juror who wouldn't vote to indict trump. Just one.

I have to believe that the same will happen on every jury during the trials. trump is actively committing jury nullification every day.

Every single legal move that trump makes, will be at the very last second possible. In that way, each motion will have eaten up as much time as possible

Stay tuned.

I dont think it will eat up any extra time, they will allow the state case to proceed while the federal action is taking place.

LOL. We who lived through the seventies know that the FBI is always listening. Whenever we heard a click on the phone line, we would tell the person on the other end "That's just the FBI"

In the issue above, it's just the inbreds playing semantics. Offering a plea deal (that is as common as grocery shopping) is somehow 'witness tampering'.
Agreed on semantics. In their favor, most of them are demented paranoids who hide in their retirement facilities living in fear.

This may take a few years to play out, which is why Trump may die of natural causes before it's resolved, but I think a lot of top level Trumpers are going to prison.

If a defendant has 30 days to file a motion to sever, etc, trump will take 30 days instead of 3 days. In that way, he burned a few weeks and it will take more time to have the hearing on said motion. He will do this for every trial in every venue.

The fact Trump doesn't want to clear his name in court ASAP indicates guilt.

The flopping is going on at all levels. Those close to Daffy Donald are thinking of themselves. The earlier you come clean, the better deal you can get. The employees at Mira Lago who helped him move and hide boxes of classified documents are telling. Those in the admin will not do jail time for Trump. But, Trump is promising pardons by the truckload. He wants to erase his crimes from the top spot.
That is why Trump is in super delaying tactics. He thinks he can win. Then his lawbreaking will disappear and he can take his childish revenge on those who are doing their jobs.

I understand, but very few things will delay the primary case from continuing to move forward toward trial. Most of these issues will not force a delay.

Because his court date is next spring? I guess he can't combine stalling tactics with demanding a speedy trial.

I do wonder why Trump hasn’t tried to remove his case.

He was watching and hoping Meadows would win and then he and others would piggy back off that.

Meadows took the stand (something almost no lawyer would recommend) as his chance of winning the removal was much greater, if he could explain in his own words what he believed and why he acted as he did.

Without him (or Trump) taking the stand the lawyer is limited to arguing only factual issues of law. Lawyers cannot speak to what a client thinks or believes and then make arguments to the jury as to why that is correct or means they had no intent, without the client getting on the stand and stating it. It would all be hearsay otherwise.

That is why Trump is so fucked in all these cases. He is fucked to begin with but in so much worse position as many of his (weak) defenses are about what he believed and how that informed his intent. Without going on the stand, his lawyers cannot argue that. And Trump is not taking the stand.

Yup.

trump can't seem to get all of his crimes before a judge that adores him, and it's making him crazy. Each day brings another problem for him.

But...he's winning the jury nullification game and I don't believe he will be found guilty in any court.

And prosecutors don't tamper with witnesses.

HAHAHA. Did you really say that? All prosecutors use witness tampering. It's routine for them to tell a witness under indictment himself, " If you help me convict so-and-so , i'll drop charges against you." You saying that is not witness tampering??????????????

YOU ARE STUPID EVEN FOR A TRANNY PERVERT.

Guilty people often take reduced sentences via plea deals. Otherwise, courts would be clogged up forever.

Innocent people don't need plea deals.

Witness tampering is what trump tries to do with is co conspirators.

He seems to be preoccupied with trans people.

In the same way that Republicans are preoccupied with gay people, but still end up in airport bathrooms with a 'wide stance'.

That's very telling.

He has an impressive collection of tranny dick pictures.

Agreed. They looove to talk about tranny dicks and gay sex. Why would they do that unless fascinated by it?

Plea deals are ok, you moron. That is not the issue here. We are talking about dropping charges in exchange for testimony against someone else. That is clearly witness tampering and only a moron like you cannot see that.
