Okay, but consider this: in his first term we libs said we were terrified at the thought of a demented Trump having access to the nuclear launch codes.

Either we were lying, or we thought Trump was really a unique existential threat to America

Well, I think after having survived his first term intact, J6 notwithstanding, we may feel a bit less doomed this time.

I'm hoping the entire ordeal of his first term and (hopefully) with some lessons learned, this time maybe he'll reign in the crazy a little bit.

A bit much to hope though, probably.

Any lessons learned will probably be about how to get away with shit better.

Trump learned the opposite lesson. He will be more ruthless and dominant because he will have lackeys everywhere. He is trasghing the [rocesof checking his nominees. He will bypass the normal vetting and install who he wants. They will be as crooked as he is and 100 percent compliant. Few of them will be able to pass clearance requirements,but they will not have to.

Subverting the US Constitution by attempting to interfere with the lawful election process via violent insurrection will at that point, become just another perfectly legal act with no punishment or consequences associated with it whatsoever.
