Explain to me how raising tariffs on China is any different to increasing taxes on corporations.
One increases the cost of things made in China. The other increases the cost of things made in the US. Would you rather thing be made with Chinese labor or with American labor?

All these polls showing how unhappy people were/are with the direction of the country, big negative numbers on the state of the economy etc. but somehow you expect him to sit there and just praise Biden? That's silly.
And the largest role in the economy of course is really played by Powell (and the Fed). People are talking about Powell taking victory laps while Trump has even floated wanting to fire him. That's what your OP needs to be about.

And it cost the US tax payers a lot of money to bail out the US farmers, and that was ONLY farmers , wait till he puts tariffs on just about EVERYTHING we buy.
He wants a blanket tariff on all imports of at least 20 /30 % and is talking more on stuff from China , and we buy a lot of things that go into the stuff we make here from China and it will drive up the cost of those products too.
The exporting Countries do NOT pay the tariffs they just increase the price of their goods to cover it and the US CONSUMER pays it.
And a lot of well known economists are saying it will not only drive up the cost of about EVERYTHING but could also cause a lot of people to lose their jobs and start a deep recession / Depression.
We will have to wait and see what Trump does and how it goes.
I hope it doesn't happen but if it does hold on to your ass.
