man oh man, talk about depressing... I am watching a History Channel special on "Blood Diamonds" from africa.... gees....

It's much better on CSI Miami. Some bad guys get caught and some children freed.

You know Care, and I believe you do care deeply, we simply cannot solve all of the world's ills. By "we" I mean us as individuals and us as a country as well. I think we overstep our bounds (as a country) so often on things like this. I also think we as individuals can do ourselves great mental harm worrying over things we can do nothing about.

To me, that is like saying, "Retarded people" would be better off dead, or people with severe mental disorders have no value of life...

And I believe that they do have a value.....

Sooooooooo, don't you be getting mentally sick on us...ya hear me...because I could just see you moving to oregon to "take care of business"...and your life is worth much more than that.... imo!

Care I don't think the retarded are not valuable. But I would rather die than be retarded. If one was born mentally retarded then they know nothing else and can find meaning in life. Myself on the other hand could not take such a precipitious fall. I must live my life in dignity or not at all. As soon as I would need someone to change my diaper for me I know the show is over.

I have often told my wife and other family members that if I begin to lose my mental faculties that I will terminate my life. The mind is the most valuable thing life without it is pointless.

I will suicide when physical mental limitations prevent enjoyment of life at a basic level. I consider it my right.
