Most of us, including psych experts, believe that almost all mass shootings are committed by a mentally ill person. The transphobes believe that gender dysphoria is a mental illness. If so, why aren't they equally focused on schizophrenics, OCD patients, those with clinical depression or bipolar disorder? Why just the trans community?

I smell bigotry. And ignorance.

Because people who have been clinically diagnosed with a mental illness can't legally buy guns.

Violence in the trans community is rare.

By your logic, Christians committing violence means Christians are mentally ill.

Trans aren't mentally ill because of violence they might commit. They're mentally ill because they have the highest suicide rate on the planet and want to mutilate themselves along with take massive amounts of drugs to alter their body chemistry artificially.

Yeah, that and two cents might buy you... not a thing.

So do you really think someone bent on suicide or homicide is going to admit to that diagnosis when when buying a firearm to commit the desired goal? They can't check everyone's medical records. Pointless, worthless gun-humper panacea.

Part of the process is the sales clerk(s) involved too. They can size up a customer and deny a purchase just because. Is that system perfect? No. It is better than nothing though.

No, black only tattoos tend to be ones associated with gangs and prison time. Persons getting lots like that guy has on the street tend to have color in them. It was a first pass guess on things about the person in the photograph. None in the photo appear to definitely be prison / gang associated, but it is a possibility.

Let me guess. It's never occurred to you that these two things are connected? Your rejection and disdain and prejudice against them (that's a group you, not just you specifically) is harmful. How manyhundreds of school shootings have we seen committed by kids who were rejected and bullied? How many thousands of suicides? Why do you care what gender someone else wants to be? How does it affect you in any way? It doesn't. If you bigots would just leave these people alone, the world would be a better place.

I seriously doubt if any gun store owner is going to allow his employees to reject a sale based on "feelings." They don't want to risk a lawsuit -- or loss of income. Try again.
